Regaining Our Kingdom Authority - 2012 Greetings everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The Lord is doing great things and we are all a part of the work that He is doing. They say that time flies when you are having fun and this past year has truly been an enjoyment for me. It has gone by so quickly that it is hard to even keep up with all our blessings. Yet look where God has brought us. He has added and He has taken away but through it all He has never left any nor forsaken any of us. He truly is a good God. We pray that we were a blessing to you just as you were a tremendous blessing to us. Remember last year's theme was "Renewing the Covenant". Where we were called by God to focus on the lost, sick, shut-in, widows, and others. I pray that each of you have read your 2012 vision packet so we all can be on one accord and do your individual part as we venture into the vision for 2012. 2012 Presents us with unique challenges to continue to do God's work in our church, community, and all His creation, continuing from where we left off in 2011. Both individually and collectively we will strive to win every soul and spread God's word. Awaken into a spirit of awareness what God is doing in our lives. Faith is the foundation of our strength. 2012 will bring forth our spiritual growth and bring us into the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His order as we regain our Kingdom authority. Stay focused on God's plan. It is NO accident. He has a purpose for you: Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 1Thessalonians:3 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John14:27 ~ The 2012 Covenant ~ The vision that God has given us for 2012 is Regaining Our Kingdom Authority. A covenant is an oath-bound promise or spiritual agreement whereby God solemnly vows to bless or serve His people in some specific way. The keeping of the promise may depend upon the other party meeting certain conditions made by God and some are unconditional but normally establishes or defines God's relationship to or with His people. When Adam sinned he didn't lose his God, he lost his dominion that came through an obedient faith-based relationship with God and commanded. As a result he lost his privileges to remain and rule in the kingdom (Eden) that God provided. (Gen.1:26/3:22-24). In 2012 we look to regain God's kingdom authority here on earth by faithfully seeking Him and operating in obedient faith, fulfilling His will for ourselves as well as this assembly (Matt.6:33). I do believe that it is the will of God for His children to know Him and operate in His power over this earth, seeking to achieve His will for our lives as well as this assembly. (Eph.3:8-21) Explanation of the Kingdom The Kingdom is the governing realm of a king (Jesus) over His territory or domain, impacting it with His will, purpose, and intent, that produces a culture, value, morals, and lifestyle that reflects that of the king. The kingdom exists wherever the will of the king is at work. It is our goal this year to perpetuate God's kingdom through a kingdom mindset. It is also our goal to reflect Christ as our king, seeking to submit and operate fully, in His will here on earth. (Matt.4:17) I do believe that this will set us on the path to regaining our kingdom authority.
Pastor’s Quick Quote “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more and fear less, so in all thy getting, get an understanding, for God has not given us the spirit of fear. Proverbs 3: 5-6, II Timothy 1:7
